How To Use Your Nokia Phone As A Modem

Well there are many ways you can use your nokia phone as a modem to browse the internet on your pc, but I want to show you how you can do that using the Nokia Ovi Suite.

Requirements:

1. A Nokia phone that can browse the internet and
2. Nokia Ovi Suite. If you don’t have it you can download it here.

Step 1

Open the Nokia Ovi suite

Step 2

Connect your device through Bluetooth or preferably using a USB (Universal Serial Bus) cable and select Nokia Suite (or Nokia Ovi Suite, PC Suite) USB mode when asked.

Step 3

Click Next  to move to the next screen and then click Finish to exit the connection setup dialogue box.

Step 4

On the next screen, select the Connect now link to move to the configuration screen.

Step 5

Leave the default options and click Next.

Step 6

Select your home country and your operator from the dropdown list and then click Connect.

Step 7

After that you click finish to exit.

Step 8

Now you are connected to the internet and your phone is serving as a modem. You can see you data usage on the home screen and as well disconnect from there.
