FIX: Premiere Pro could not find any capable video play modules

Having trouble running Adobe Premiere Pro? Well I did too and this was what worked for me, hope it helps solve the error message that displays when you try to open PP.


STEP 1
Go to start & type "%appdata%" in the search box & you will see a roaming folder in the search results.


STEP 2
Open the roaming folder & then go to the adobe folder & then the Premiere Pro folder.


STEP 3
Inside you will find the 6.0 folder. Right click on that & select rename & change the folder name to "6.0old".







STEP 4
Try launching Premiere Pro while holding down the shift key while it loads the various components on the splash screen.
(Holding down the shift key refreshes the plugin information)
